Chrome gets rid of http://

I havn’t seen this mentioned anywhere, but chrome has gotten rid of the http:// in its latest build, but actually adds it back in in certain situations

This really annoyed me at first, as I tend to type in addresses and copy and paste them where needed, and more often that not you need an http:// at the front of the URL to make the link work and typing the http:// back in to every URL is almost enough to make me go back to firefox. But then I noticed when you paste the url back in it does in fact add in the http:// which means it has just been taken out of the display url and in the address bar. I guess they feel it looks better without it and I must admit its taken a bit of getting used to, but its a really nice touch that Google actually re adds the http:// part when you copy and paste.
